Introduction
GasPac™ in-truck computing software seamlessly links delivery fleets with retail
and distributor accounting, planning and dispatch systems.
GasPac™ automates each transaction in real-time, eliminating historical manual and
paper administration.
Drivers use typically intrinsically safe touch screen computers connected with electronic
meters and onboard monitoring systems. This provides a robust management infrastructure
and empowers bobtail, cylinder and tanker drivers.
GasPac™ comprehensively meets LP Gas industry standards and user practices throughout
the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Features & Benefits
Invoices and delivery tickets are calculated to volume and printed at the time of
delivery with 100% correct pricing and taxes. All transactions are immediately available
from an electronic storage and retrieval system on central servers. Electronic
signature capture means no paper copies of transactions are necessary.
Delivery staff are informed and empowered with access to customer credit
status and special instructions. Delivery and invoice details are emailed automatically
on the day of delivery or downloaded from a website. Prepayments can be encouraged
with the ability to make a delivery associated with a prepaid volume.
Administrative capacity increases with the removal of data entry, query management
and postage handling. Driver and vehicle utilization increases with faster
delivery stops and the elimination of manual start and end of day procedures. Fleet
administration means regional offices and processing centers are redundant.
Bulk volumes or on-site and returned cylinders are automatically tracked and reconciled
securely.
Improved error detection, immediate invoicing and proof of delivery systems, such
as positive ID or GPS geocoding, facilitate a broader acceptance of same day banking.
Vehicle inspections with secure defect notification and record keeping assist
mandatory policies. Wireless, intrinsically safe computers reduce the need for physical
cabin entry and exits. Guardian Man-Down and Remote Shut-down interfaces provide greater
assurance for staff working remotely.
Modules for DOT logging, dynamic status reporting and fatigue management alarms are available within GasPac™. Compliance to standards for weights and measures,
metered temperature compensation and fuel tax are supplied. Homeland Security vehicle tracking mandates are standard.
